Fibonacci Helix is a Detroit based company that offers unique, one of a kind jewelry pieces. Our featured product is Third Eye Pinecones.
The pinecones are harvested in the California mountains while they are still living. One cross section is taken from each pinecone, and the rest of the pinecone is returned to the forest for the seeds inside it to reproduce.
Each pinecone has its own unique natural pattern, similar to a fingerprint. This method ensures each pinecone necklace is one of a kind, and we return to the forest what has been taken.
The pinecone cross sections are inlaid with a variety of crystals, stones, fossils, and butterfly wings, then finished and protected with a wood working resin.
We also carry jewelry created from 60-100 year old recycled watch pieces that are sometimes paired with assorted precious stones and crystals. These pieces include adjustable rings, earrings, plugs, pendants, and cuff links.
Another favorite item is pendants, earrings, and bracelets made from butterfly wings. They come from sustainable farms and are never killed for their wings, the only wings used are ones collected from butterflies who happened to die naturally. The 13 step resin process creates such a solid protective barrier of these delicate wings. The resin is a little flexible, so they don't shatter easily.
